Romans 6:4 We were therefore buried with Him through Baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life. --NIV

In the name of the One Who was raised through the glory of the Father, amen.

Are there things in your life you wish you could do over? Are there nasty things you've done to people, or times when you embarrassed yourself that you wish you could erase? Perhaps there is someone you offended and you wish you could relive the situation and not offend him.

Well, when it comes to our behavior with God, we do have a second chance. God has given us new life-an opportunity to start fresh and do it right. What is more is that we have that opportunity every day. Because of Jesus' resurrection, we have a new life to live. And every time we mess it up, we can turn again to our Savior and start over. We are truly blessed in the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Christ has given us a second chance in our relationship with our heavenly Father. More than that, He has made things right for us. Amen.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, by Your resurrection we have a second chance with our heavenly Father. Thank You for the new life You have given us. Help us by Your Holy Spirit to live our lives in a manner that is pleasing to God, amen.
