Romans 4:25 He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification. --NIV

In the name of the One Who was raised for our justification, amen.

Christ Jesus had to die for our sins. He also had to rise from the dead so that we could be pronounced innocent by the Father. The fact that death could not hold Jesus proves that His sacrifice was acceptable to the Father. We stake our salvation on the fact that Jesus rose from the dead. It is our comfort, and our certainty that eternal life is ours. Amen.

Prayer: Dear Lord Jesus, in mercy You died for us; in love You rose again from the dead. Grant that we always have joy and confidence in our faith, because we know that You rose from the dead; that you justified us, amen.
