Monday after Judica (Judge me), 4/2/01

Romans 5:18 So then as through one transgression there resulted condemnation to all men, even so through one act of righteousness there resulted justification of life to all men. --NASB

In the name of the One Who brought justification to all men, amen.

It always amazes me that people will set up thousands of dominos just for the pleasure of watching one nock down the next, and the next, etc. It seems like a lot of work for such a simple pleasure. But in that act there is a spiritual lesson. The fall into sin was sort of a domino effect. Adam sinned and passed the guilt and death onto his children who passed it on to their children right down to our day.

We needed someone to reach out his hand and stop the effect. That someone is Jesus Christ and He did stop it. He put an end to death by His death. He took away the guilt and now we will stand in the judgment. Glory be to the name of Jesus. Amen.

Prayer: Dear Lord Jesus, You are gracious and merciful; You gave Yourself into death so that we could live. We praise, thank, and glorify Your name forever because of this, amen.
