Proverbs 29:7 The righteous care about justice for the poor, but the wicked have no such concern. --NIV In the name of the One Who alone is righteous, amen.
And justice for all. Do those words sound familiar? They reflect the official attitude of our nation. We supposedly stand for justice for everyone. It doesnt matter how big or little your bank account is, in the United States everyone is supposed to get the same treatment.
Now we can argue whether such is really the case, but we do know that Christians are not to be swayed by riches. Just as everyone is the same in the eyes of God when it comes to salvation, so everyone is to be the same in our eyes when it comes to civil justice. We reflect the hidden nature of God. In other words, like Father, like sons. Amen.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for the righteousness you gave us in Christ Jesus. Grant that by Your Holy Spirit we reflect Your righteousness to others, amen.
