Psalm 102:8-11 All day long my enemies taunt me; those who rail against me use my name as a curse. For I eat ashes as my food and mingle my drink with tears because of your great wrath, for you have taken me up and thrown me aside. My days are like the evening shadow; I wither away like grass. --NIV In the name of the One Who was taken up and thrown aside by God, amen.
Psalm 102 is a prophecy of a prayer of our Savior. He felt the wrath of God for us. He took on our sin and suffered the pain of Hell. He felt the eternal separation from God's grace. He took the full force of God's wrath so that we could live at peace with God. Because Jesus endured the wrath of God, we are sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. The wrath of God may storm and rage, but it no longer holds terror for those who are in Christ Jesus. Amen.
Prayer: Dear Lord Jesus, thank You for taking God's wrath on Yourself so that we would not have to suffer it. Keep us in Your grace so that we never do face our heavenly Father's wrath, amen.
