There are those who focus so much on God's power, glory, and justice, that a person could get the idea that God will be angry forever. But nothing could be farther from the truth.
God will indeed punish evil. He will destroy the work of all His enemies. But the Lord is merciful and wishes to live in peace with His people. So, when He has wiped evil off of the face of the earth, He will let His anger rest and spend the rest of eternity expressing love for His people. This is the sure hope that we look forward to, amen.
Prayer: Dear Lord, let Your wrath come quickly so that we will be rescued from this evil world. Bring us into Your heaven to live with You in peace forever, amen.
