Romans 4:25 He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification. --NIV In the name of the One Who was raised for our justification, amen.
Every Sunday we celebrate the resurrection of our Savior from the dead. This is a very significant event. You see, Christ's death on the cross means nothing for us if He didn't also rise again from the dead. Therefore St. Paul reminds us that Jesus was raised for our justification. It proves that our sins were paid for and that eternal life truly belongs to us. Amen.
Prayer: Dear Lord, we know that the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Jesus. We deserve death, eternal death, but in Your great love for us in Christ Jesus You gave us life instead. Keep us in our justification so that we may thank and praise you in eternity, amen.
