John 10: 27 "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow Me." --NASB

In the name of the One Whom we follow, amen.

Remember the old RCA-Victor record label? It showed an old Victrola phonograph with a dog sitting in front of it. The caption read: "His master's voice." It is amazing how animals recognize voices and other sounds. I've seen dogs that could recognize the sound of their master's car from more a mile away.

Jesus speaks about us as if we were animals who recognize their master's voice. If we really are His sheep, we will follow His voice. We will not follow the voice of another. There are many false shepherds out there who want to lead us to death. But Jesus' sheep won't follow the false shepherds. There is something wrong with the sound of their voices. We know our shepherd, and we follow Him alone. Amen.

Prayer: Dear Lord Jesus, there are many false teachers in the world. Help us to know Your voice so well that we will never follow any of them. Help us to follow Your voice, and only Your voice, amen.
