Thursday after Oculi, 3/22/01Revelation 12: 10 Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say: "Now have come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of His Christ, for the accuser of our brothers, who accuses them before our God day and night, has been hurled down. --NIV
In the name of the One Whose kingdom comes, amen.
It is interesting that even Christ Jesus doesn't accuse anyone before the Father. Rather, it is the devil who accuses us. But His end is very near, and then he will never accuse us again.
Satan was thrown out of the courtroom of heaven as if to say, "You are in contempt of this court; take your false accusations and get out." His accusations are in fact false. If God, Who is our judge, says we are innocent, how can anyone say we are guilty? Let the devil rage; he will meet his end very soon. His accusations fall on deaf ears because we have been found not guilty in Christ. Amen.
Prayer: Dear heavenly Father, You are to be praised and glorified for eternity because You have pronounced us innocent in Christ Jesus. Thank You for turning a deaf ear to the accusations of the devil. Lord, keep us in the true faith so that we never come under the judgment of the devil and are thrown out of Your kingdom. We ask this in Jesus name, amen.
