John 3:1-3 Now there was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews; this man came to Him by night and said to Him, "Rabbi, we know that You have come from God as a teacher; for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him." Jesus answered and said to him, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." --NASB In the name of the One Who instructed on the necessity of rebirth, amen.

Last week we saw that we have a sinful nature that is damning. We also saw that we need to be born again through Baptism in order to destroy that nature. This week we look at that rebirth. Here, when Nicodemus came to Jesus, Jesus informed him of the necessity of rebirth. No one gets to heaven without rebirth. But God has given us that rebirth so that we might be saved. Amen.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank You for the rebirth of Baptism. Now that we have been born again, help us to grow strong in the True Faith to eternal life with You, amen.
