Genesis 3:15 "And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed; He shall bruise you on the head, and you shall bruise Him on the heel." --NASB In the name of the One Who bruised the head of Satan, amen. Note carefully the words of our verse for today. The seed of the woman is spoken of as "He." This is the One born of a virgin, not by will of a man. Notice also that the seed of the devil is not spoken of in the singular. In fact the seed of the devil is not directly dealt with. Instead the devil himself would be bruised in the head by Christ. Yes, the devil has many children, and they will war against Christ until He returns in judgment, but Christ has crushed their father the devil, and that means salvation for us. Amen. Prayer: Praise be to You, O Christ, for You bruised the head of the devil. Keep us safe, Lord, from the attacks of the devil's children. Keep us in the True Faith to eternal life, amen.
