Philippians 4:6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. --NIV In the name of the One Who provides for all our needs, amen.

Do you ever wonder what you should take to God in prayer? I have a friend who says that we should not expect God to do anything for us that we can do for ourselves. There is an important thought in what he says, but on the other hand, we should never hesitate to take our concerns to our heavenly Father. Even if we are the answer to our own prayer, the Lord is the One Who prospers all our actions. We should always approach Him first, then with His guidance, we can seek the answer to our prayers.

Our heavenly Father does indeed hear and answer our prayers. He also desires to give us all good gifts. So, what should we take to God in prayer? Whatever is on our minds. Amen.

Prayer: Dear heavenly Father, hear the prayers we bring to You out of troubled hearts. Grant us answers to our prayers that will keep us in Your grace, amen.
