Saturday after the Third Sunday of End Time, 11/25/00

John 12: 47, 48 "And if anyone hears My words and does not believe, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world. He who rejects Me, and does not receive My words, has that which judges him-the word that I have spoken will judge him in the last day."

In the name of the One Who came to save us, amen.

This week we have been looking at God's word and how it is the only standard and source for doctrine. Here we see that God's word is so reliable, so true, and so powerful that Jesus doesn't even judge those who reject Him. Rather, Jesus' word judges them. By this we can be absolutely certain that if we follow God's word, we will be saved.

Our Loving Savior didn't come to judge us. He leaves that to His word. Everyone who puts their trust in Jesus' word will be saved. There is no other place for us to look for knowledge about salvation, and there is no need to look anywhere else. We have Jesus' word that He came to save the world. By believing His word we have eternal life. Amen.

Prayer: Dear Lord Jesus, thank You for coming to save the world. We trust Your word; take away all our doubt. Keep us in the true faith so that we may glorify Your holy name forever, amen.
