Monday after the First Sunday of End Time, 11/06/00

John 14: 2, 3 "In My Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also." --NKJV

In the name of the One Who went to prepare a place for us, amen.

Many foreigners come to our country alone. A father or mother will come here and begin working. He or she will work and save and establish a life here and then send for the rest of the family after things are in place to support the family. Those who are left behind are sad and lonesome, but they eagerly look forward to the day when they will be reunited with their loved one.

Brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus, a day is coming when our Savior will return for us. He will come and take us home to our new home in heaven. That will be a day of reunion. It will be the beginning of a time when there will never again be sadness or loneliness in our lives. It will not be the end of our ability to learn and discover, but it will be the end of disease, death, war, famine, and all the other evils that plague us. May the reality of that day encourage you now as you struggle in this life. Amen.

Prayer: Dear Lord Jesus, You promised to return and take us home to yourself. We are waiting for that day. We live in a world that has been destroyed by sin. We have sickness, arguments, disappointments, and death. Return, O Lord, and take us to our new home with You, amen.
