Psalm 1:5, 6 Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous. For the Lord watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish. --NIV In the name of the One Who watches over the way of the righteous, amen.
How wicked are you? Do you revel in the company of those who tell the off-color jokes? Do you keep company with adulterers, drunkards, or drug abusers? Is your tongue prone to lying? Think carefully about these things before you quickly say, "No, not me!" Think carefully and judge yourself well, because we are told that if we judge ourselves, we will not come under God's judgment.
How wicked are you? Hopefully not wicked at all because you are in Christ, and if you are in Christ, you are righteous. Every lie, every adulterous thought, impure word, drunkenness and drug abuse is forgiven in Him. If you are in Christ you will stand in the judgment because the Lord watches over the way of the righteous. Amen.
Prayer: Lord Jesus, we have sinned greatly. Wash us clean once again as we come to You for forgiveness. Make us righteous by Your holy blood so that we will stand in the coming judgment, amen.
