Luke 21:7 And they questioned Him, saying, “Teacher, when therefore will these things be? And what will be the sign when these things are about to take place?” --NASB In the name of the One Who told us about the things that would come, amen.
Fear of the unknown is at the heart of why we want to know about the future. Will we be happy? Will we be with our loved ones? When will the end come? How much time do I have? That fear reveals a lack of faith, a weakness in us.
But Jesus knows how much we can take. He knows just how much we should know about the future so that we don’t despair. So He gave us certain signs to show us how close we are to the end. Those signs remind us that no matter what happens, Jesus is still in control, amen.
Prayer: Dear Lord Jesus, thank You for giving us the signs of the end times so that we are not overwhelmed with fear over the things that are happening to and around us, amen.
