Psalm 119:105 Thy word is a lamp to my feet, and a light to my path. --NASB In the name of the One Who gave His word to be a light for us, amen.
For the past two weeks we have been considering the return of our Lord in Judgment. In our study we saw that there will be those who will try to lead us astray. So, how do we keep from being led astray by false prophets? Well, we are told that God's word is a light to our path. If we are faithful to His word, we will not be fooled. His word sheds light on where we are going, spiritually speaking. It guides us to eternal life. It is for this reason that it remains important for the Bible to be translated into as many languages as people speak. In this way people will be armed against the false teachers. Amen.
Prayer: Dear Lord, Your word truly sheds light on our path. Keep us in Your word, amen.
