What are the goals of Reformation's preschool?

That all our interactions with children and their parents would meet their needs as our Savior, Jesus, would. To ensure children will feel welcome and learn the joy of knowing Jesus as their Savior That children will develop their God-given potential through meaningful play and conversation with teachers and other children.
To keep rigorous and frequent assessments of each child’s progress, ensuring individualized guidance in intra-and inter-personal relationship skills (emotional development), fine and gross-motor skills (physical development), and understanding and comprehension skills (spiritual/cognitive development).

Philosophy of Education:

Compassion is shown in the classroom through mutual respect and understanding of the child’s need to be nurtured and the teacher’s need to have a safe environment for all the children.

Learning is fun.  All children can learn.  Children need to believe that they are life-long learners and welcome as a member of our learning community.

Reformation Preschool creates a positive environment for preschool age children in which they can express their natural curiosity and creativity while establishing a warm and caring transition between home and school.

Activities are designed for individual learning styles. Parents and teachers work together to support the children each step of the way; learning social, academic and behavioral skills.

As a ministry of Reformation Lutheran Church, we help parents in their God-given responsibility to share God’s Word with their children. In Deuteronomy 6:6&7, we read, “And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.”

Our Gospel message is based on John 17:3, “And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.”
